When schoolwork feels hard, your child needs a teacher who slows down — not a class that leaves them behind.
After School Academy is a small learning-support centre for children KG through Grade 6. We work with struggling learners, homeschooled children, and Hafiz-e-Quran students — one child, one pace, one confident step at a time.
Most parents who call us are asking one of these questions
If any of this sounds familiar, you're in the right place — this is exactly who we built the programme for.
"My child is falling behind in Maths, English or Urdu."
We find exactly where the gap started and rebuild from there, instead of racing through the syllabus.
"We homeschool — but need structure."
A dedicated homeschool support track keeps lessons consistent, tracked, and age-appropriate.
"My child is memorising the Quran and needs academics too."
Flexible scheduling for Hafiz-e-Quran students, so religious study and schoolwork both get real attention.
Programs built around one child at a time
Every programme is taught in small batches — group or fully one-on-one — so no child is left guessing.
Subject Tutoring
English, Maths & Urdu — reading, writing, grammar, mental maths and comprehension, KG through Grade 6.
Preschool Readiness
Ages 2.5–4.5: pencil grip, letters, numbers, colours and shapes, taught through play.
Admissions Test Prep
Focused preparation for entrance tests into reputable Karachi schools — including for homeschooled children.
Taught by a teacher with 20 years in Karachi classrooms — not a rotating roster of tutors.
Erum Ahmer has taught as a class teacher for grades 1–5, spent 10 years as an academic coordinator for a British-curriculum primary school, and has tutored privately for 15+ years — including children from BayView Academy, Springfield School, Foundation Public School and The Learning Tree. She has a particular focus on slow learners and children who've lost confidence in the classroom.
